A retail park with a past and a future
SES is developing S-PARK Varaždin, a modern retail park close to the city centre on the site of the former Varteks textile factory, with excellent transport links and regional appeal. This vibrant location for shopping and local amenities will be up and running on an area of around 50,000m² by 2027. S-PARK is to accommodate 12 shops, restaurants with outdoor seating, and services on approximately 11,500 m² of rental space with the region’s first INTERSPAR hypermarket at its heart. This will make the project a new local supply hotspot for Varaždin and the surrounding area.
Architecturally, the retail park will combine modern elements with echoes of the striking brick structure of the historic site. The central location guarantees perfect integration into the cityscape. SES is investing over €28 million in the project, providing a significant economic boost to the region. Varaždin, as part of the S-PARK brand family, stands for high-quality design and contemporary usage, clearly setting itself apart from conventional retail parks.
