MURPARK Graz offers special kinds of shopping experiences: The high architectural standard and many real plants combine with nationally and internationally successful anchor stores to create an urban lifestyle. In 2018, the SES center opened its 6,500 m² expansion and 18 new shops, strengthening further its position as one of the city’s favorite meeting places. MURPARK offers attractive anchor tenants, a variety of brands, and a special food & beverage focus in its segment mix. An extension of tram line no. 4 as a direct connection to the city center, a new highway feeder road, a Park&Ride offer, a dedicated city train station, bicycle garages, and connections to supraregional cycling paths all combine to constitute an internationally award-winning traffic concept for MURPARK visitors. The large-scale center in the southeast of Graz can be easily reached from all directions. MURPARK has a very strong supraregional pull that goes beyond the Slovenian border. At the same time, it offers benefits for local benefits as a district center. Since 2018, SES has operated a photovoltaics system on the roof of MURPARK Graz, which generates approximately 170,000 kWh of electricity per year for the center.

ICSC European Shopping Center Award 2013, Stockholm, Sweden

MURPARK won the ICSC European Shopping Center Award in the “Established Centers” category. The Graz-based shopping center convinced the jury via its well thought-out traffic concept, which was established via a public-private partnership with the city of Graz, as well as its infrastructure and quality of stay.

MAPIC Retail Future Project Award 2005, Cannes, France

MURPARK in Graz won the “MAPIC – Retail Future Project Award 2005” as part of the global competition organized by the “Plaza” trade journal. In the “Best Shopping Center Near a Transport Hub” category, MURPARK achieved an impressive second place.
