When WEBERZEILE in Ried im Innkreis was opened in 2015, a new benchmark was set. The shopping center blends in with the city via its architecture and location, and it creates viable commercial structures on site. SES opened the downtown shopping center at a traditional retail location, which is within walking distance to the historic city center of the Upper Austrian regional capital. The center’s name reflects its roots: The road on which WEBERZEILE is located today bore the same name as early as the 18th century, which translates to “Weaver’s Road” in English. Then, the street was mainly occupied by members of the textile dying trade as well as linen weavers, who shaped the city and its inhabitants for many centuries. Today, WEBERZEILE honors its roots and builds a bridge between tradition and the modern world. From the beginning, WEBERZEILE and the city center of Ried engaged in constructive cooperation in order to create a meeting point that inspires people. One of the synergies thus created is the joint gift certificate: the “Rieder Schwanthaler Zehner”. In 2020, WEBERZEILE commissioned its own 520 kWp photovoltaics system on its roof, generating its own, sustainable solar energy and reducing nearly 128 tons of CO2 in the process.

Transport Infrastructure

The shopping center is connected to the local road networks and is situated close to the A8 “Ried” exit. WEBERZEILE can be reached on foot or by bike via an extensive path network.

Shopping with a Cult Status in a Prominent Location

CITYPARK Graz is one of Austria’s best-established shopping malls. Since opening in 1971, the centre has become a fixture of Graz’s retail scene and a crowd-puller in the heart of the Styrian capital. Following extensive renovation work in 2002/2003 it now offers around 40,000 m² of leasable space – with a broad selection of brand-name shops, attractive dining options, a rooftop terrace and views of the Schlossberg, numerous events, the popular ZEHNER vouchers and a genuine feel-good atmosphere.

SES has been responsible for centre management here since January 2010. Moreover, in 2013, SES was commissioned to carry out comprehensive modernisation steps which were completed in 2015. CITYPARK has since boasted modern and sophisticated architecture featuring a new façade, plus an attractive mix of shops, optimised transport links – and adapted parking decks offering 2,000 generously-sized parking spaces for maximum convenience.

In 2024, the INTERSPAR hypermarket in CITYPARK was reopened as an important anchor tenant. In autumn 2024, the arrival of Peek&Cloppenburg was a further contribution to the centre’s fashion expertise. Subsequently, the largest New Yorker store in Styria opened in 2025 – impressive additional proof for the venue’s growing fashion specialisation. Other special features at the centre are the adjoining medical and health centre, and a state-of-the-art gym.

CITYPARK generatied its own sustainable solar power with a roof-mounted 830 kWp photovoltaic system since 2022.

Transport Infrastructure

CITYPARK is centrally located and only a 15-minute walk from Graz’s main square. Directly adjacent to the north-south route through Graz, the center is accessible via public transport, on foot, by bike, or by car. Graz’s main station is 1.2 km away. 2,000 parking spaces allow for a convenient stay in the heart of the downtown area.

Always One Step Ahead

EUROPARK in Salzburg offers an urban, timelessly modern shopping experience combined with the highest quality of stay and service as well as a variety of cultural attractions. The SES center is the uncontested number one and the region’s leading shopping center. Its core competences in the brands and fashion segments, its varied gastronomic offer, including upscale cuisine, first-class events, award-winning infrastructure, and the best possible transport connections make EUROPARK Salzburg the place to be. In terms of sales density, EUROPARK ranks among Austria’s best. Many new retail concepts choose EUROPARK for their nationwide launches. Due to its huge economic success, its social and cultural commitment, and its well thought-out use of resources, the center has set new international standards. In 2007, the flagship of SES was awarded the title “World’s Best Shopping Center” by the International Council of Shopping Centers. EUROPARK is one of the state’s most important businesses and is the largest private workplace in Salzburg. Every year, the Salzburg-based center attracts more than 10 million visitors from Austria and abroad. More than 20 percent of visitors come from the neighboring state of Bavaria. The attractive and functional architecture of EUROPARK was designed by the renowned Italian architect Massimiliano Fuksas. Art and Culture are Parts of our Center Philosophy. Thanks to the OVAL, EUROPARK is the only shopping center in Europe that offers regular performances on an arts and culture stage. Sculptures by artists such as Jonathan Borofsky and Jörg Immendorff can be seen on the center grounds.

The 8,500 square-metre expansion of EUROPARK Salzburg begins in early 2026 on land already sealed for the parking area. Permission has already been issued by the state of Salzburg for the rededication of the land. Hence, all related approval and planning procedures have been underway since December 2023. The expansion will generate additional retail space and room for new amenities, enhancing EUROPARK’s status as a vibrant shopping and leisure destination.

Transport Infrastructure

Whether by city train, trolley bus lines, bicycle, or car – EUROPARK Salzburg is perfectly accessible via public transport, and, given the fact that its warehouse is located directly along the A1 highway, it is also excellently positioned nationwide.
