Our business: We are specialized in the successful development, construction, and operation of internationally designed retail properties. SES offers its know-how in these core competences as third-party services to retail property owners. In addition, and for selected projects only, SES offers investment opportunities to third parties. In 2002, SES entered the Italian market of large-scale shopping centers and currently operates three locations in Padua and Bassano del Grappa, as well as several neighborhood centers in the north of Italy.

Energy Management System

All SES locations in Austria, Slovenia, and Italy operate with an energy management system certified according to ISO 50001:2018 by TÜV AUSTRIA. This allows us to further optimize the already very energy-efficient operation of our malls.

Sustainable activity has been part of our corporate DNA at SES for many years. Many SES centers have received several awards for their commitment to CSR. We do more than simply implement required standards. We apply a forward-looking approach to putting in place energy-saving and energy-efficient measures.

Certified Hygiene Concept

Healthy and safe through the pandemic: The hygiene management concept SES has established at its centers has been certified by TÜV Austria, making SES the first company in the retail properties sector to achieve such certification.

Climate active mobile project partner

SES has been investing in e-charging stations for years and use 100 per cent green electricity from renewable energy sources. For this we were awarded the title of “climate active mobil project partner” by the Austrian Ministry of Climate Protection.

ALEJA Ljubljana wins ECSP Design and Development Award 2023

The latest Slovenian center has won the international award in the category “New center developments over 15,000 to 45,000 square meters”. Europe’s largest retail real estate association, the European Council of Shopping Places (ECSP), awards the prizes for particularly outstanding projects in the shopping real estate sector. After the Global RLI Award 2021, this is already the second internationally significant award for ALEJA.
