The MARIANDL shopping centre is home to traditional magnet businesses, thus benefitting from its popularity and perfect location. The shopping centre is located right in the heart of Wachau, one of Austria’s most famous tourist regions. INTERSPAR had been traditionally located there for over 30 years, and in 2014 SES expanded the facility to create the modern MARIANDL shopping mall. Attractive architecture is emphasised by an exhilarating bridge connecting MARIANDL with the adjacent shopping centre. The shopping experience is also enhanced by a sophisticated traffic management plan. The shopping venue perfectly complements Krems’ charming town centre. MARIANDL offers interesting retail concepts and is the premier address in the region. In addition to trendy big-name shops, the centre focuses on popular regional gastronomy. In 2022, SES commissioned a 266 kWp photovoltaic system on the roof of the shopping centre. This saves 64 tonnes of CO2 per year.

Due to its optimal location directly along the B 35 federal highway (near the B 37 intersection), the Krems-based shopping destination can be reached quickly and conveniently.
