Vibrant Center of Vienna Döbling

Q19 in the Vienna district of Döbling is adjacent to the heritage-protected building of a former cigar factory dating back to 1909. The shopping center is impressive evidence of how modern architecture and historic buildings can be combined to form a harmonious arrangement. In the heart of the Döbling district, a shopping quarter was created that comprises nearly 15,000 m² of GLA, including light-flooded interior rooms, a unique ambiance, and mixed-use facilities, and combines shopping, culinary experiences, leisure, and work. A medial center, a car care station and offices make Q19 an exemplary project in terms of district vitalization, as well as a traditional commercial site and a shopping and communication hub: Just after its opening, Q19 and its surroundings became a vibrant meeting place in the heart of Vienna’s 19th district. Today, it attracts visitors from a large catchment area, while at the same time serving as the region’s popular neighborhood center. The center is operated with a particular emphasis on ecological aspects. During the planning phase, special attention was given to saving energy and preserving resources, and the center was equipped with state-of-the-art building technology.
