Opened in 2010, SES shopping center VARENA in Vöcklabruck is setting new international standards with its extraordinary architecture and its sustainable energy concept. In 2013, VARENA submitted itself to BREEAM AT certification of its existing premises. In 2017, the excellent result was surpassed in the context of the BREEAM In-use recertification: The center was awarded the “excellent” rank with regard to both its operational management and its building performance.

ICSC Solal Marketing Award 2013, London, UK

VARENA won the international ICSC Solal Marketing Silver Award in the “Public Relations” category. The award was granted in acknowledgment of the spectacular implementation of the world’s biggest candy mosaic at VARENA.
